Haus Thal in Overath

We were here for Christmas last year, we were enthusiastic about it, because of this we have now ordered something to be picked up and the quality does not suffer there either. The staff is very friendly.

Super nice staff, and also with the current situation to pick up as always good quality of the food. So 5 stars from me.

Service nice and courteous. were in the beer garden .. he gave me too many stones .. everywhere. A little more green would be nicer. Today was barbecue evening: Saturday, June 27th, 20: Delicious spare ribs and ox cheeks (I don't want that at all) my partner thought it was delicious.

Absolutely perfect service, 100% child-friendly, forward-looking, forward-thinking service, for example ordered a children's menu and there was children's cutlery for the first time that someone had already done without asking, while the very tasty and reasonably priced food was being prepared the little ones can run away on the associated "playground with slide swing etc" the little ones cannot walk because the path is so oriented that they always have to pass the adults / guests. So I was flashed by the absolutely top service package.

Whit Monday in the beer garden, which is beautifully laid out with typical beer garden gravel. All Corona specifications implemented very well. The grill was started, the beer garden was very busy and the weather was great. As always, the team was very hospitable, so you have to feel good.

Unbelievably cozy .. Staff very attentive and friendly :) I had super tender pork medallions, all in all everything was really delicious. I thought the homemade spaetzle was great. This restaurant is still operated with heart. I will gladly come again :)

Very ample Bergische coffee table in a pleasant atmosphere and with very nice and attentive service. There is a playground for children right next to the beer garden, so boredom never arises. Plenty of parking spaces directly at the house.

Bergische Kaffeetafel! A poem, the service - boss - optimally prepared, everything arranged so that you could come from several sides to the food served as a buffet. In short: Anytime again, like with friends and even now goose, you should not say no.

A perfect evening, the goose breast, or the goose leg were excellent as always. The service is very friendly and the price-performance ratio is very good. This also applies to other foods.

Its a good Hotel and restaurant and including parking and garden

Fantastic little hotel in Overath! The owner(s) could not be more accommodating I recently spent 2 nights at haus tahl whilst travelling for work and I could not recommend it enough. Exceptionally clean rooms, exceptionally clean building. Lovely seating area outside. Food is absolutely amazing so full of flavour and cooked perfectly. WiFi works well within the hotel and also outside in the BBQ / Terrace area. It is located on a road so if you want a really quiet place to stay it might not be for you but it’s lovely nonetheless! Only slight issue for me is a lack of air conditioning in the rooms but a lot of these type of B&B / Hotels in Germany do not provide it! Will definitely be returning soon for another stay at Haus Tahl

Very nice place. Informal with ok quality food and drinks. The rooms are nice and tidy, however the beds are a bit to the smaller side. Recomnendable for the ones preferring local non-fancy stays.

It's antic and it's cozy
